Code of Ethics

The Indian Typti Federation's standards of conduct for everyone associated with the sport, built on integrity, respect, fair play, professionalism, inclusivity, and accountability.

1Purpose

The Indian Typti Federation (ITYF) is committed to promoting Typti with integrity, fairness, respect, and professionalism. This Code of Ethics sets out the expected standards of conduct for all individuals and organizations associated with ITYF.

2Who This Applies To

This Code applies to:

  • Office Bearers
  • Players
  • Coaches
  • Referees
  • Volunteers
  • Tournament Organizers
  • State Associations
  • Clubs and Academies
  • Members and Affiliated Partners

3Our Core Principles

Integrity
Act honestly, ethically, and in the best interests of the sport at all times.
Respect
Treat all participants with dignity, courtesy, and respect, regardless of age, gender, ability, background, or opinion.
Fair Play
Compete and officiate fairly. Respect the rules, officials, opponents, and the spirit of the game.
Professionalism
Carry out all duties responsibly and uphold the reputation of ITYF and the sport of Typti.
Inclusivity
Promote an environment that is welcoming, safe, and free from discrimination, harassment, bullying, or abuse.
Accountability
Take responsibility for your actions and comply with ITYF policies, rules, and decisions.

4Expected Standards of Conduct

All members shall:

  • Act with honesty and integrity.
  • Respect officials, opponents, teammates, spectators, and volunteers.
  • Follow the rules of Typti and ITYF regulations.
  • Avoid any form of cheating, match manipulation, or unfair advantage.
  • Refrain from abusive, offensive, or discriminatory language or behaviour.
  • Protect the safety and wellbeing of all participants, especially children and vulnerable individuals.
  • Avoid conflicts of interest and disclose them where they arise.
  • Use ITYF property, funds, and resources responsibly.
  • Represent ITYF in a positive and professional manner.

5Social Media

Members are encouraged to use social media responsibly and shall not:

  • Post content that damages the reputation of ITYF or the sport.
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse others online.
  • Share false or misleading information.
  • Disclose confidential federation information without authorization.

6Compliance

All members are expected to comply with this Code of Ethics. Any breach may result in disciplinary action, including warnings, suspension, or termination of membership or affiliation, in accordance with ITYF policies.

7Commitment

By becoming a member of, or participating in activities organized or sanctioned by the Indian Typti Federation, every individual agrees to uphold this Code of Ethics and contribute to the positive growth and reputation of Typti in India.
